Australia Pacific LNG

This project involved the development of Australia's largest coal seam gas (CSG) resource in the Surat and Bowen basins in central south west Queensland. The facility consists of a 530 kilometre transmission pipeline and a multi-train LNG processing facility located on Curtis Island, near Gladstone in Queensland. APLNG will be one of the world’s first projects to convert CSG to liquefied natural gas (LNG), with product being delivered to customers in Australia and Asia. Production is expected to continue for up to 30 years. APLNG is a joint venture project between ConocoPhillips (37.5%), Origin Energy (37.5%), and Sinopec (25%).

LFF was contracted under a blanket order call off system to provide piping materials and special Non Slam Wafer Check Valves. Deliveries were made to the Turkish fabricator Cimtas and to the Australian jobsite.
