Mero 3

Mero 3 is a Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) installation that will be located 180 kilometres off the coast of Rio de Janeiro, in the prolific pre-salt area of the Santos Basin. LFF Glamal was chosen to supply the pipe, fittings and flanges for the seawater treatment plant on the vessel.

Material was supplied in accordance with IOGP datasheets from Norsok M650 and ISO 17782 qualified mills. Additional testing was  carried out in accordance with ISO 17781 QL 11 which included radiographic and dye-penetrant testing. Documentation was submitted and approved through the projects chosen documentation portal ensuring open and efficient communication with the client.
