Sangomar

The Woodside Sangomar FPSO will be deployed in the Sangomar (formerly SNE) field approximately 100 Km south of Dakar, Senegal. Once the FPSO is completed in early 2023, it will process 100,000 barrels of crude oil, 130 million standard cubic feet of gas and 145,000 barrels of water injection per day with a minimum storage capacity of 1,300,000 barrels.

LFF Perth was contracted to supply duplex and super duplex pipe, fittings and flanges for various processes, including sea water intake lines, with materials being delivered to two Chinese fabrication yards employed by Modec. To ensure the strict technical requirements were met, LFF Perth employed an independent ISO 17025 laboratory to carry out destructive tests and supplied the material complete with EN 10204 type 3.2 certification. In total, over 4 Km of pipe and 10,000 fittings and flanges went through this process and were supplied to the project.
